About the publication

Railguns & Dragons

A place for thoughtful stories about RIFTS, Palladium roleplaying games, and the ideas that have kept players talking around the table for decades.

What This Site Is

Railguns & Dragons is an independent fan publication built around articles, videos, and podcasts. The goal is not to catalog every rule or replace a wiki. It is to explore the questions that make these games memorable: why an idea worked, why a character class mattered, and why a strange piece of the Megaverse still sticks with us.

Everything is organized as a simple stream of posts, so readers can arrive, choose a story, and start reading without fighting through a crowded homepage.

About Vince

I am Vince, the host of Railguns & Dragons and The Evil Dungeon Master. I have spent years playing, reading, and talking about roleplaying games, but Palladium and RIFTS have always occupied a special corner of that hobby for me.

I make this material for longtime fans and for curious players who have heard that RIFTS is huge, unruly, and difficult to approach. You do not need encyclopedic knowledge to enjoy it. You only need a good question and a willingness to explore.

What You Will Find Here

Features about RIFTS history and lore. Practical ideas for running and playing Palladium games. Videos built around one strong question. Podcasts that take the time to examine a subject without rushing past what makes it interesting.
