Second Robotech War
The Masters Saga
A rebuilt Earth faces the Robotech Masters. This is Southern Cross territory: tighter resources, divided command, and a planet fighting another invasion.
Third Robotech War
The New Generation
The Invid occupy Earth. Small resistance cells, Alpha fighters, Cyclone-style armor, and ordinary survivors turn the campaign into a road war.

Palladium published two major versions of its Robotech game line. The first built outward from the original series; the later edition restarted around The Shadow Chronicles and revisited the three sagas.
1986
The original Robotech RPG begins
Book One: Macross launched the line. The RDF Manual, Zentraedi, Southern Cross, Invid Invasion, Return of the Masters, New World Order, and Strike Force expanded it through 1995.
1987–94
Adventures and The Sentinels
Ghost Ship, Lancer's Rockers, Zentraedi Breakout, the RDF training book, The Sentinels RPG, and the REF Field Guide pushed campaigns beyond the numbered core line.
2008
The Shadow Chronicles relaunch
A second Palladium edition began with The Shadow Chronicles, followed by revised sourcebooks for the Macross, Masters, and New Generation eras.
